Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

Are you noticing a trend yet? Yes, I'm Hannah and I have a liquid lipstick addiction. I should call this Hannah's search for the holy grail of liquid lipsticks, because that is essentially the only thing I'm doing with my life. I digress, this is my Kat Von D collection of Liquid lipsticks, and these things aren't the easiest to get hold of in Britain, lucky for me I visit America a fair amount for holidays, so I tend to hit up Sephora for all the brands that are like a forbidden fruit to the English, it mainly consisted of Kat Von D, Tarte and generally any new releases that hadn't hit the UK. So these liquid lipsticks were an obvious choice, with a lot of hype surrounding them, I picked up four before I could stop myself.

L-R: Lolita, Requiem, Outlaw, Backstage Bambi.
The shad range is probably the most impressive line I've been, there's something for everyone, with colours equally for the casual and the bold. The texture of these is quite mousse-link, they glide on well, are amazingly pigmented and look velvety matte on the lips, pretty much instantly. Despite claiming to be 'Everlasting' I wouldn't necessarily say they're the most long lasting, but they're not bad, they last a good amount of time, and I also don't find them overly-drying, but just don't expect these to look amazing after 12 hours. Overall though, I'd say these liquid lipsticks are probably my favourite out of my collection, and the range of colours is just so overwhelming that I fell the need to have them all, but then again I probably feel like that with most makeup. Have you tried any of these liquid lipsticks?

Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks

As of late, I seem to have been obsessed with trying all of the liquid lipsticks in the world, I feel like it's a trend that will never die, and to be honest all liquid lipsticks have their merit, I mean I have never tried one that I hated in every aspect, and the Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick is no exception to that. What I should mention is that the texture of these, despite being hailed a 'cream lipstick' is a lot thinner than I anticipated. I would compare the texture to the Jeffree Star Liquid lipsticks, however the main difference being that these dry satin, and seem to transfer a little more than the Jeffree Star ones. That being said, they don't disrupt the colour, it does stay on, it just tends to transfer onto glasses or mugs etc.
L-R: Soft Spoken, Sandstorm, Cherry Skies, Vintage.
The colour of these lipsticks are really beautiful, they have quite a few colours in the line, I ended up picking four all of which are very pigmented. They aren't quite as patchy as they look on my arm, but you do have to make sure you distribute the colour evenly on your lips, especially with the darker colours. The main selling point for the liquid lipstick, I would say, is the comfort and lightweight texture. Its not the most long wearing, but it's nowhere near as drying as most liquid lipsticks. While for some people that's a drawback, if you're someone who wants to try liquid lipsticks but can't handle the drier, matte textures, then these are definitely worth a try, especially with the price being more than half the price of the likes of the Jeffree Star Liquid lipsticks and theBalm's Meet Matte Hughes. So, what do you think of the liquid lipstick trend? If you have any recommendations for liquid lipsticks let me know so I can feed my addiction.

Feelunique haul

Lately I've been a complete idiot, buying things that I honestly don't need, but that's pretty much capitalism and let's just say I've been rather good at it. Anyways I made a (small by my standards) order for feelunique, I usually end up turning to the beauty sites after I've had a particularly bad day (most days) and I did show some restraint and refrained from buying about ten liquid lipsticks and eight skincare products. These three dudes made the cut...
First of all I purchased theBalm's Meet Matte Hughes Liquid Lipstick in the colour Charming which is a gorgeous deep berry colour. These liquid lipsticks not only smell like mint chocolate, they are also ridiculously pigmented, no patchy application whatsoever. I haven't tested out the wear time very much, I'll let you know how I get on, but its giving me some seriously good vibes.
Next up I purchased L'Oréal's True Match Foundation in the colour N1. Now, I originally did have this a while back, but the shade was way too warm for me (I think the colour was W1) and I wasn't a huge fan as it clung to a few dry patches, but I decided to give it another go in the correct colour as it was just recently reformulated and I'm always one for giving people a second chance. Again, I haven't used it too much but I'll update you if its groundbreakingly better than before.
Lastly, I don't know about you, but whenever I make a purchase I can't help but throw in a face mask. I love face masks, I have a collection of them and I thought, why not throw another into the mixing pot. I noticed that the Dead Sea Magic Mud Mask was around £7-8 if I recall and it intrigued me, I have tried this out and I did really enjoy it, but I'm not really sure whether its a must have, it probably performs just like any other mud mask, but it did seem to clean out any clogged pores so I'm happy with it!
So, that was my mini (unfortunately not that mini in price however) haul from feelunique, if you have any of these products let me know what you think of them!

My Beauty Profile

Seeing as this is my first post, I thought I'd talk about My profile in terms of beauty. I know when I read a lot of other beauty blogs that it's difficult to gauge whether a product might work on you skin, hair etc. so I thought for my first post I'd take a look at my profile so that when I recommend something, you'll be able to see whether its suitable for you. So here we go...

Skin Type: Combination/oily, dehydrated at times, a few acne scars and large pores and acne prone.
Hair Type: Thick, scalp psoriasis, sometimes dry
Skin colour: Pale. Very pale indeed. I have neutral undertones and freckles on my nose.
Hair colour: Naturally, a greyish brown, though I dye my hair reddish brown.
Eye colour: Green
General comments: I love makeup, but makeup doesn't last well on me, my face and eyelids get very oily and breakdown make up. My bodily skin is a little bit eczema prone and tends to get a bit red with the heat (though that's most likely down to my fibromyalgia)

I think that covers everything? If there's anything I've missed off let me know and I'll add it on. Forgive me if this is a bit all over the place, this is all new to me, so hopefully I'll pick it up soon!
